1996 - 2020

Spain had initially been the step out of Britain but the real destination had always been South America. In 1996, circumstances conspired to bring this about. The vibrant energy of festive Brazil proved a catalyst in the development of the artist's style. The work is imbued with the colour and beat of a different drum.
In Brazil, the artist managed the dream of building his own house, brick by brick; breathed the real understanding of bossa nova into his jazz, and injected a dose of previously restrained color and mystical energy .
